10 years with Metro. 5 1/2 years in K-9. Partners with Apollo, a 5 1/2 year old German Shepherd for the past 2 1/2 years and Cyril, a 3 year old Black Labrador Retriever Urban Search & Rescue dog. Member of Nevada Task Force 1 (FEMA) and responded to both Hurricanes Katrina & Rita. Johns two previous K-9 partners were both killed in the line of duty.
